R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, The birth of David Jackson Carmichael Bonnen to 
State Representative Dennis Bonnen and Kim Bonnen of Angleton on 
May 20, 2004, represented a joyous and unforgettable occasion for 
this fine Texas family; and
	WHEREAS, Making his way into the world at 2:26 p.m., this 
welcome addition to the household weighed in at eight pounds, five 
ounces, and measured 19-1/2 inches in length, but the delight he has 
brought to the members of his family is truly immeasurable; and
	WHEREAS, Blessed with an irresistible smile and a winning 
personality, this charming little boy has indeed brightened the 
lives of everyone around him, including his doting grandparents, 
David and Matina Bonnen and Mike and Gail Martin; and
	WHEREAS, Jackson will surely thrive in the loving embrace 
formed by his parents, extended family, and friends--a circle that 
will undoubtedly nurture this fine young Texan throughout his life; 
now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas 
Legislature hereby officially welcome David Jackson Carmichael 
Bonnen as a new citizen of Texas and extend sincere congratulations 
to State Representative Dennis Bonnen and Kim Bonnen on the birth of 
their beloved son; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for Jackson, his parents, and his entire family as an 
expression of high regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
