R E S O L U T I O N
	BE IT RESOLVED by the House of Representatives of the State of 
Texas, That H.R. 3, the housekeeping resolution adopted by the 
House of Representatives of the 79th Legislature, Regular Session, 
2005, be amended by adding the following section to Article 3 of the 
resolution:
	SECTION 3.11.  DISPLAY OF "IN GOD WE TRUST" IN HALL OF THE 
HOUSE.  The Committee on House Administration shall display the 
motto "In God We Trust" on the face of the white horizontal portion 
of the portico located over the speaker's podium and beneath the 
electronic message screen at the front of the hall of the house.  
The motto shall be set out in permanently affixed simple gold 
lettering large enough to be read throughout the hall.
