R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, Zachary Charles Noblitt is an exceptional young man 
who has been named the Boys & Girls Club of Brazoria County Youth of 
the Year; and
	WHEREAS, Mr. Noblitt has been a member of the Boys & Girls 
Club for four years; during that period, he has dedicated much of 
his time to Teen Court, representing the state in more than 300 Teen 
Court trials; and
	WHEREAS, In addition to attending court on a weekly basis as a 
prosecuting attorney, he is an active member of Teen Court's Teen 
Mentoring Program, where he counsels troubled youths at peer 
mentoring sessions; he spends numerous hours giving back to the 
program and the community, and he has helped to train more than 40 
Teen Court volunteers and to expand Teen Court into Alvin and 
Manvel; and
	WHEREAS, Mr. Noblitt also takes an active role in the 
Keystone Club by organizing charity work and neighborhood cleanup 
days; and
	WHEREAS, Ranked as one of the top students at his school, he 
is a member of the varsity tennis team, captain of the debate squad, 
and a member of the Scholastic Bowl Team and National Honor Society; 
and
	WHEREAS, This truly noteworthy Texan is dedicated to making a 
difference in the lives of his peers; he is a tremendous role model 
for others and an exemplary leader; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas 
Legislature hereby congratulate Zachary Noblitt on being named 
Youth of the Year by the Boys & Girls Club of Brazoria County and 
extend to him sincere best wishes for future success and happiness; 
and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for Mr. Noblitt as an expression of high regard by the 
Texas House of Representatives.
