R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, The ladies of the Mission Impossible bowling team, 
who range in age from 71 to 90, lend credence to the theory that a 
sense of humor and an active lifestyle can keep one young in mind 
and spirit; and
	WHEREAS, The team's delightful members, Ruth Betzel, Mary Kay 
Britton, Barbara Hanlon, and Mary "Jeffie" Smith, meet at the 
Freeway Bowling Lanes in El Paso every Tuesday morning as a part of 
the Koffee Klatchers bowling league; and
	WHEREAS, Drawn to the camaraderie of their peers, the 
opportunity for exercise, and the good-natured spirit of 
competition they share, these remarkable women enjoy life to the 
fullest, making them an inspiration to all who know them; now, 
therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas 
Legislature hereby commend the members of the Mission Impossible 
bowling team and extend to them best wishes for many good times 
ahead; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for the team as an expression of high regard by the Texas 
House of Representatives.
