R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, The Prestonwood Christian Academy girls' volleyball
team has achieved the pinnacle of success by winning the TAPPS Class
5A state championship; and
WHEREAS, Demonstrating outstanding skills and superb
athleticism, the 39-6 Lady Lions won three of four games over
Houston Lutheran South in the state championship game to clinch the
team's second consecutive state title; and
WHEREAS, Head coach Tim Euler ably schooled his players in
the game's fundamentals, while instilling in them the values of
hard work, dedication, and good sportsmanship; and
WHEREAS, The exceptional athletes on this fine team are a
source of tremendous pride to the students and faculty at
Prestonwood Christian Academy and to their many supporters in the
community, and their phenomenal success truly deserves special
recognition; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate the Prestonwood Christian Academy
girls' volleyball team for winning the TAPPS Class 5A state
championship and extend to the players and coaches best wishes for
continued success; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Prestonwood Christian Academy as an expression of high
regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
