R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, A 50th wedding anniversary is truly cause for 
celebration, and on December 18, 2005, Claudio and Edelmira Sotelo 
of Del Rio will mark this significant milestone in their long and 
happy union; and
	WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Sotelo were married in Del Rio on 
December 18, 1955; over the five decades of their marriage, the 
Sotelos have nurtured a strong bond of mutual love, respect, and 
admiration for each other; and
	WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Sotelo were blessed with three 
children, Claudio, Debra Melinda, and the late Fernando, as well as 
the  grandchildren and great-grandchildren that they dearly 
cherish; and
	WHEREAS, The enduring union of Claudio and Edelmira Sotelo 
remains a source of inspiration and joy to the family and friends 
with whom they share their lives, and it is a pleasure to honor them 
at this time; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas 
Legislature hereby congratulate Claudio and Edelmira Sotelo on the 
special occasion of their golden wedding anniversary and extend to 
them sincere best wishes for continued happiness; and, be it 
further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Sotelo as an expression of high regard by 
the Texas House of Representatives.
