R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS,  Christene Diaz is graduating from South Texas 
Vocational Technical Institute (STVT) on March 4, 2005, as 
salutatorian of her class; and
	WHEREAS, The salutatorian serves as a role model and leads by 
example, combining a steadfast vision of excellence with tenacious 
enthusiasm; and
	WHEREAS, Throughout her studies, Ms. Diaz has earned the 
respect and admiration of her instructors and classmates at STVT, 
and as she prepares to embark on her career in the field of health 
care, it is most fitting that she be commended for her outstanding 
accomplishment; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas 
Legislature hereby congratulate Christene Diaz on her graduation as 
salutatorian of her class at South Texas Vocational Technical 
Institute, and extend to her best wishes in all her future 
endeavors; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for Ms. Diaz as an expression of high regard by the Texas 
House of Representatives.
