R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, Fort Worth District Clerk Tom Wilder has earned the 
Best Practices Award from the Texas Association of Counties (TAC) 
for exceptional delivery of services; and
	WHEREAS, The TAC Leadership Foundation Best Practices Award 
Program seeks to honor exemplary county programs and to use these as 
models on which other counties may base their own methods; and
	WHEREAS, A truly deserving recipient of this accolade, Mr. 
Wilder developed an innovative program that allows individuals to 
gain court records via the Internet; and
	WHEREAS, Today, landlords, employees, law firms, title 
companies, news media, and nonprofit organizations enjoy markedly 
more convenient access to essential data; moreover, the revenue 
generated from this outstanding new system helps to reduce 
courthouse costs to taxpayers; and
	WHEREAS, A two-time winner of the Best Practices Award, Tom 
Wilder continues to demonstrate leadership and an unfailing 
commitment to achieving the highest standards of public service; 
now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas 
Legislature hereby congratulate Tom Wilder on earning the Best 
Practices Award from the Texas Association of Counties and extend 
to him sincere best wishes for continued success; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for Mr. Wilder as an expression of high regard by the Texas 
House of Representatives.
