R E S O L U T I O N
	BE IT RESOLVED by the House of Representatives of the 79th 
Texas Legislature, That Rule 14 of the permanent rules of the House 
of Representatives of the 79th Legislature is amended by adding 
Section 7 to read as follows:
	Sec. 7.  Neither the house nor a committee of the house may 
meet on a state or national holiday established for the observance 
of the birthday of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
