R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, Nine decades of living is indeed a special reason 
for celebration, and on April 14, 2005, Ester Mae Bennett of San 
Antonio marks the significant event of her 90th birthday; and
	WHEREAS, Born in 1915, Mrs. Bennett is well-deserving of the 
affection and admiration she enjoys from others, for she has long 
demonstrated the virtues of hard work, deep faith, honesty, and 
integrity; and
	WHEREAS, A devoted mother and treasured friend, this lovely 
lady is the heart of a close-knit circle of loved ones, and her 
gentle, welcoming nature embraces the good in all people; and
	WHEREAS, She endeavors to live by the Bible verse found in 
Matthew 5:16: "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see 
your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven."; and
	WHEREAS, The birthday of Mrs. Bennett provides a fitting 
opportunity to honor this delightful Texan, whose kindness and 
friendship have touched and brightened the lives of countless 
individuals; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas 
Legislature hereby warmly congratulate Ester Mae Bennett of San 
Antonio on the joyous occasion of her 90th birthday and extend to 
her sincere best wishes for continued happiness; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for Mrs. Bennett as an expression of high regard by the 
Texas House of Representatives.
