R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, Five decades of marriage is truly a reason for 
celebration, and on April 29, 2005, Richard and Alice Dziubanek of 
Livingston are marking this memorable milestone; and
	WHEREAS, With the exchange of their wedding vows on April 29, 
1955, Mr. Dziubanek and his bride, the former Alice Irene 
Dahlstedt, began their journey as husband and wife; over the course 
of five decades, the pair have nurtured a close relationship that 
has given them great happiness and brought joy into the lives of 
their loved ones; and
	WHEREAS, Through the years, the Dziubaneks have set a fine 
example and shared the personal qualities they hold dear with their 
children, Carla, Sheree, Robert, and Russell, their grandchildren, 
Eletha, Christopher, Kimberlee, Austin, Russell, and Jennifer, and 
their great-granddaughter, Shelbee; and
	WHEREAS, Mrs. Dziubanek has been a dedicated housewife 
throughout the couple's marriage, while Mr. Dziubanek, a Vietnam 
veteran, distinguished himself as a member of the U.S. Air Force for 
two decades, during which time the Dziubaneks traveled extensively 
and lived in Africa and England; and
	WHEREAS, Today respected residents of Livingston, the couple 
are active members of First United Methodist Church; and
	WHEREAS, For half a century, Richard and Alice Dziubanek have 
shared life's challenges and opportunities together, and their 
marriage remains a source of inspiration to their family and 
friends; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas 
Legislature hereby warmly congratulate Richard and Alice Dziubanek 
on the joyous occasion of their 50th wedding anniversary and extend 
to them sincere best wishes for continued happiness; and, be it 
further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Dziubanek as an expression of high regard 
by the Texas House of Representatives.
