R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, February 27, 2005, was a very special day for Brian
and Jennifer Green of Richardson, for on that day their first child,
Tyson Vaughan, was born; and
WHEREAS, Tyson made his highly anticipated arrival on a
cloudy Sunday morning at 9:22 a.m., weighing in at eight pounds,
seven ounces, but while the day was heavily overcast, the faces of
his parents, family members, and the maternity staff at
Presbyterian Hospital of Plano shone brightly at the birth of this
healthy baby boy; and
WHEREAS, Present to share in this wondrous event were Tyson's
newly inaugurated grandparents, Joann and Jerry Leedy of Austin,
Robert Green of Austin, and Elizabeth Gilley of Grand Prairie, and
step-grandmother Rhonda Brink Green of Austin, as well as
great-uncle Gary and great-aunt Chris Gilley of Sachse, aunts Lynn
and Leslie Green of Austin, and uncle Alan Leedy of Dallas; and
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Green will face many new challenges
together as they raise their young son, yet they can be assured of
having the considerable support of Tyson's extended family, all of
whom will be "on call" to provide counsel and wisdom borne of
experience to this cherished new loved one; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas
Legislature hereby welcome Tyson Vaughan Green as a new citizen of
the Lone Star State and extend heartfelt congratulations to Brian
and Jennifer Green on the joyous birth of their son; and, be it
further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Tyson and his parents as an expression of high regard
by the Texas House of Representatives.
