R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, A loving family and good friends celebrate the life 
of Sybil Fay Atkinson Prange of New Boston, who passed away on March 
21, 2005, at the age of 92; and
	WHEREAS, Born on April 20, 1912, Ms. Prange was a native of 
New Boston, where she was a member of the Dogwood Garden Club and 
Tapp Memorial United Methodist Church; and
	WHEREAS, A caring and compassionate woman, Ms. Prange devoted 
her life to her beloved family, including her sons, former State 
Representative Hamp Atkinson and Dr. Paul Atkinson, a dentist in 
New Boston; and
	WHEREAS, Sybil Prange was a much-treasured member of her 
community and will be deeply missed by all those who were privileged 
to know and love her; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas 
Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Sybil Atkinson Prange 
and extend sincere sympathy to the members of her family: to her 
sons; to her sister, Bertae Bender; to her grandchildren, Robin 
Woodson, Kevin Atkinson, Dr. Jeff Atkinson, Amy Barron, and Melinda 
Black; to her great-grandchildren; and to her other relatives and 
many friends; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of 
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Sybil 
Atkinson Prange.
