H.R. No. 1057



R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, Charles Pierce Brooks of Jacksonville marked his 
first birthday on March 4, 2005; and
	WHEREAS, This significant milestone caps off a year of 
remarkable change and growth for Chase, and his parents, Jeana and 
Brady Brooks, have taken great joy in watching their son discover 
the many wonders of the world around him; and
	WHEREAS, Chase is also a continuing source of delight to his 
proud grandparents and extended family, many of whom joined in 
marking this special occasion at a grand birthday party held at 
Taylor's Chapel Church on March 5; and
	WHEREAS, Blessed with an irresistible smile, a winning 
personality, and a rich Texas heritage, Charles Pierce Brooks is 
truly a welcome addition to the state's citizenry; now, therefore, 
be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas 
Legislature hereby honor Charles Pierce Brooks on the joyous 
occasion of his first birthday and extend to him sincere best wishes 
for success and happiness in the future; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for Chase as an expression of high regard by the Texas 
House of Representatives.
