H.R. No. 1064


R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, A young life cut short is cause for pain that time may diminish but can never erase, and we join the family and many friends of Andrea Ellington Basile in mourning her passing on August 2, 2002, at the age of 35; and WHEREAS, A loving mother, daughter, and friend, Ms. Basile brightened the days of many people with her winning personality, and her presence continues to be missed to this day; and WHEREAS, The years since her passing have only confirmed her importance in the lives of her loved ones, who remain grateful for the time they had with her; and WHEREAS, Although Andi Basile will long be missed, memories of this beloved woman will forever light the hearts of all who knew her; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Andrea Ellington Basile and extend sincere sympathy to the members of her family: to her son, John Trent Basile; to her daughter, Madison Basile; to her parents, Sandi and Gary Horowitz and Geep and Barbara Ellington; to her sisters, Serina Tatich, Denise Hagler, Suzy Mathis, Cristina Wright, Crystal Waldo, and Jenny Jeter; to her brothers, Lance Ellington, Keith Farris, and Mikey Waldo; and to her many other family members and friends; and, be it further RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be prepared for the members of her family and that when the Texas House of Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Andi Basile.
