R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Lisa Corinne Mason of El Paso has graduated with honors from the College of Agriculture and Home Economics at New Mexico State University, achieving an important milestone in her life; and WHEREAS, The daughter of Sal and Laura Borzi, this remarkable young scholar maintained a 4.0 grade point average while completing her degree requirements in just 2-1/2 years; named a Crimson Scholar, she was further honored for her achievements with the Dean's Award of Excellence; and WHEREAS, Ms. Mason majored in fishery and wildlife sciences while enrolled at NMSU, where she was active in the student chapters of the Wildlife Society and the American Fisheries Society; and WHEREAS, Lisa Mason is an impressive individual who has shown exemplary commitment to her studies while attaining her college degree, and she may indeed reflect with pride on her outstanding accomplishment; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas Legislature hereby congratulate Lisa Corinne Mason on her graduation from New Mexico State University and extend to her warmest best wishes for a bright and promising future; and, be it further RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be prepared for Ms. Mason as an expression of high regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
