                                                                  H.R. No. 1091



R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, The well-being of the citizens of Texas depends on 
economic prosperity throughout the state, and independent 
businesses that employ Texans and contribute to local economies are 
important components of a prosperous future; and
	WHEREAS, Locally owned and operated, Shamaley Ford of El Paso 
is one of the top Ford dealerships in the nation, a ranking achieved 
through the hard work and dedication of its staff and general 
manager, Bill Haas; and
	WHEREAS, Shamaley Ford contributes to the quality of life for 
residents of El Paso with its commitment to responsible business 
practices, and all those associated with the dealership merit 
special recognition for their achievement; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas 
Legislature hereby commend Bill Haas and the staff of Shamaley Ford 
for their hard work and determination that sustain a successful 
business; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for the staff of Shamaley Ford as an expression of high 
regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
