R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, El Paso is the hometown of Johnny "Natural" Najera, 
an extraordinary musical talent who plays guitar and produces for 
R&B superstar Usher; and
	WHEREAS, This 1993 graduate of Eastwood High School  attended 
Berklee College of Music in Boston, one of the nation's most 
prestigious schools; it was in Boston that Usher recognized Mr. 
Najera's natural flare for seamless guitar play and hired him; and
	WHEREAS, Recently performing at the 47th annual Grammy 
Awards, Mr. Najera continues to travel down the path  of a bright 
musical career, and it is appropriate to take this opportunity to 
recognize him; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas 
Legislature hereby commend Johnny "Natural" Najera for his 
outstanding accomplishments in the music industry and extend to him 
best wishes for the future; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for Mr. Najera as an expression of high regard by the Texas 
House of Representatives.
