H.R. No. 1094



R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, Mickey Loweree of El Paso adeptly juggles the duties 
of being a wonderful mother with the demands of a busy volunteer 
schedule, and her myriad contributions to the community are indeed 
worthy of legislative recognition; and
	WHEREAS, This mother of two boys and stepmother of three 
girls volunteers for several El Paso organizations, including the 
Candlelighters of El Paso, where she helps children battling cancer 
to find the help they need; Mrs. Loweree also devotes her time and 
energy to serving with the PTA, Canutillo Alumni Association for 
Education, and the Polly Harris Senior Center; and
	WHEREAS, The greatness of the Lone Star State relies in no 
small measure on citizens such as Mrs. Loweree who selflessly 
volunteer in their community; her tireless efforts on behalf of her 
fellow El Pasoans makes her a role model for all Texans, and she 
truly deserves special commendation; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas 
Legislature hereby honor Mickey Loweree for her extensive 
volunteerism in El Paso and extend to her warmest best wishes for 
future success and happiness; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for Mrs. Loweree as an expression of high regard by the 
Texas House of Representatives.
