R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, The hard work and perseverance of Sydney Witte, a 
member of the 4-H Club in El Paso, earned her a top honor and cash 
prize at the prestigious Houston Livestock Show; and
	WHEREAS, A fourth-grader at William D. Surratt Elementary 
School in Clint, Ms. Witte won first place in the Reserve Breed 
Champion Market Hog category; her exceptional showing at Texas' 
largest livestock show gave this notable young Texan a $15,000 
payday; and
	WHEREAS, Ms. Witte's dedication to excellence is 
commendable, and she is most deserving of special recognition; now, 
therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas 
Legislature hereby congratulate Sydney Witte on winning first place 
in the Reserve Breed Champion Market Hog category at the Houston 
Livestock Show and extend to her warmest best wishes for future 
success; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for Ms. Witte as an expression of high regard by the Texas 
House of Representatives.
