H.R. No. 1099



R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, The well-being of the citizens of Texas depends on 
economic prosperity throughout the state, and independent 
businesses that employ Texans and contribute to local economies are 
important components of a prosperous future; and
	WHEREAS, Owned by Travis Kirchner, the Poki Roni Ranch in El 
Paso was established in 1929, and today offers horseback riding and 
horse boarding, and provides a venue for outdoor parties; and
	WHEREAS, The ranch enriches the lives of residents of El Paso 
with its commitment to old-fashioned activities and responsible 
business practices, and Mr. Kirchner and all those associated with 
the ranch indeed merit special recognition for their achievements; 
now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas 
Legislature hereby commend Travis Kirchner and the staff of the 
Poki Roni Ranch for their hard work and determination, which have 
sustained a successful business for many years; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for Mr. Kirchner and the ranch as an expression of high 
regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
