H.R. No. 1126



R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, The well-being of the citizens of Texas depends on 
economic prosperity throughout the state, and independent 
businesses that employ Texans and contribute to local economies are 
important components of a prosperous future; and
	WHEREAS, Founded by Larry Keast on March 15, 1980, 
Venturetech of Houston creates and manufactures various types of 
technical equipment, and it has become a leader in its field by 
developing a revolutionary power swivel design; and
	WHEREAS, Venturetech contributes to the welfare of the 
Houston area by fostering a healthy economic climate and promoting 
responsible business practices, and Mr. Keast and all those 
associated with the company merit special recognition for their 
achievements; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas 
Legislature hereby congratulate Larry Keast and the staff of 
Venturetech on the occasion of the company's 25th anniversary and 
commend them for their continued hard work and dedication; and, be 
it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for the company as an expression of high regard by the 
Texas House of Representatives.
