R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, A loving family and good friends mourn the passing
of Juan Arturo Saenz, who died on April 1, 2005, at the age of 55;
and
WHEREAS, A lifelong resident of El Paso and member of the
Catholic Church, Mr. Saenz graduated from Ysleta High School and
the University of Texas at El Paso School of Nursing; he served with
distinction in the U.S. Navy and U.S. Army, retiring as an Army
Major in the Nurse Corps; Mr. Saenz also worked as a school nurse
with the San Elizario School District; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Saenz was a devoted husband and father who
dedicated his life to serving the needs of others, and he will not
soon be forgotten; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas
Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Juan Arturo Saenz and
extend deepest sympathy to the members of his family: to his wife,
Terri Saenz; to his sons, Abraham Arturo Saenz and Adam Aaron Saenz;
to his mother, Luz Saenz; to his brothers, Abraham Saenz, Jr., Efren
Saenz, Rogelio Saenz, Eddie Saenz, Gilbert Saenz, and Sonny Saenz;
to his sisters, Estela Saenz, Patricia Sosa, Aida Salcado, Alba
Reza, Sonia Munoz, and Angie Elwell; to his numerous nephews and
nieces; and to his many other relatives and friends; and, be it
further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Juan Arturo
Saenz.
