H.R. No. 1138
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, The untimely passing of James Celaya of El Paso at
the age of 26 has greatly saddened his family and many friends, and
we join them in mourning their loss; and
WHEREAS, A graduate of Andress High School, Mr. Celaya served
in the U.S. Air Force for four years before entering New Mexico
State University, where he studied criminal justice in preparation
for becoming a lawyer; and
WHEREAS, His loved ones will always remember his friendly
personality and generous sense of humor, and his presence at
gatherings was a welcome one; and
WHEREAS, No words can soften the blow of a young life cut
short, but although Mr. Celaya will be missed, his spirit will
continue to shine on brightly in the hearts of all those fortunate
enough to have known him; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas
Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of James Celaya and
extend sincere sympathy to his family and friends.
