R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, The Senior Citizens Center of Greater Northside 
Houston is celebrating the 35th anniversary of its founding on 
April 16, 2005; and
	WHEREAS, Organized in 1969 and incorporated the following 
year, the center has maintained its commitment to providing area 
senior citizens with a place to socialize, contribute, and 
participate in activities for the past three decades; and
	WHEREAS, This outstanding organization offers its patrons an 
outlet to become involved in recreational activities and gain the 
companionship of good friends who share an interest in keeping 
active, staying informed, and meeting new people; and
	WHEREAS, The Senior Citizens Center of Greater Northside 
Houston has been a blessing to countless Texans, serving as a source 
of support, encouragement, and pleasure for members of society who 
deserve all the best life has to offer; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas 
Legislature hereby honor the Senior Citizens Center of Greater 
Northside Houston on its 35th anniversary and extend best wishes to 
all those involved for a memorable celebration; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for the center as an expression of high regard by the Texas 
House of Representatives.
