H.R. No. 1184



R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, The hard work and perseverance of Bailey Gann, a 
member of the 4-H Club in Wichita County, earned her a top honor and 
cash prize at the prestigious Houston Livestock Show; and
	WHEREAS, A member of "The Blue Team," a group of 4-H members 
who travel and show goats together, the 15-year-old Ms. Gann placed 
first in the Reserve Champion Lightweight Junior Market Goat 
competition; her exceptional showing at Texas' largest livestock 
show gave this notable young Texan a $16,000 payday; and
	WHEREAS, Ms. Gann started showing goats at the encouragement 
of her uncle, Jeff Watts; her dedication to excellence is 
commendable, and she is most deserving of special recognition; now, 
therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas 
Legislature hereby congratulate Bailey Gann on winning the Reserve 
Champion Lightweight Junior Market Goat prize at the Houston 
Livestock Show and extend to her best wishes for future success; 
and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for Ms. Gann as an expression of high regard by the Texas 
House of Representatives.
