H.R. No. 1191



R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, Memories of a life filled with joyful times and 
loving moments may comfort the family and friends of Irene G. Henry 
of San Antonio, who passed away on March 29, 2005, at the age of 82; 
and
	WHEREAS, The matriarch of a warm and close-knit family, Mrs. 
Henry was the loving wife of Robert Henry, and together they were 
blessed with five cherished children; she also took tremendous 
pride in her grandson, Sean; and
	WHEREAS, Although she will be greatly missed, Irene Henry 
will be long remembered for her strength of character, as well as 
for the kindness and compassion she bestowed on all who were 
privileged to know her; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas 
Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Irene G. Henry and 
extend deepest sympathy to the members of her family: to her husband 
of 61 years, Robert L. Henry; to her children, Sister Cecilia Henry, 
Irene Henry, Lorraine Alexander, and Dr. Robert L. Henry, Jr., and 
his fiancée, Stacy Molina; to her grandson, Sean Robert Henry; to 
her sister, Felicia Garcia; to her brothers, Rosendo and Jesus 
Gonzalez; and to the other relatives and many friends of this 
beloved woman; and, be it further

	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of 
Representatives adjourns this day it do so in memory of Irene G. 
Henry.
