R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, Ted Marquez is ably serving the City of El Paso as 
manager of the Traffic Engineering Division; and
	WHEREAS, Under his leadership, the division handles requests 
for streetlights, speed bumps, traffic signals, loading zone signs, 
school zone signs, and other traffic-related matters that are 
essential to the city's well-being; and
	WHEREAS, He has been highly instrumental in the traffic 
management center's use of traffic cameras, which not only control 
traffic signals but also monitor and prevent incidents that could 
pose a threat to citizens; and
	WHEREAS, Ted Marquez is an exceptional public employee, and 
through his dedication to excellence, he is making the city of El 
Paso a safer place to live; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas 
Legislature hereby commend Ted Marquez for his service to his 
community as Traffic Engineering Division manager for the City of 
El Paso and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued 
achievement; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for Mr. Marquez as an expression of high regard by the 
Texas House of Representatives.
