R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Dr. John Fuller, superintendent of the Wylie Independent School District, was named the 2004 Superintendent of the Year by the Region 10 Education Service Center; and WHEREAS, This well-deserved tribute honors an administrator who has worked hard to meet the demands of an unprecedented 17 percent growth rate, pass two important bond packages, and create new opportunities for the children of Texas; his 11-year tenure with the Wylie ISD has been characterized by strong, visionary leadership and dedication to excellence, and he has earned the respect and admiration of students, teachers, parents, and peers alike; and WHEREAS, Over the course of his illustrious career, Dr. Fuller has distinguished himself as an administrator of the highest caliber whose contributions to public education have benefited thousands of young people in the Lone Star State; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas Legislature hereby congratulate Dr. John Fuller on his selection as the 2004 Superintendent of the Year for Region 10 and extend to him best wishes for continued success with his important work; and, be it further RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be prepared for Dr. Fuller as an expression of high regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
