H.R. No. 1258



R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, Nine decades of living is indeed a special reason 
for celebration, and on April 6, 2005, native Texan Katie Gardner 
Frye marked the significant event of her 90th birthday; and
	WHEREAS, Born in 1915 in Ore City, Ms. Frye has lived in 
Flint, Michigan, for the past 70 years, and she has been fortunate 
to have had the opportunity to travel the globe, meeting new people 
and experiencing the cultures, cuisine, and customs of other 
countries; and
	WHEREAS, This lovely lady is the heart of a close-knit circle 
of loved ones, and her deep faith and welcoming nature make her a 
delightful woman to know; and
	WHEREAS, Katie Frye brings much happiness into the lives of 
her many admirers, and it is a pleasure to join in honoring her on 
this milestone birthday; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas 
Legislature hereby warmly congratulate Katie Gardner Frye on the 
joyous occasion of her 90th birthday and extend to her sincere best 
wishes for continued happiness; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for Ms. Frye as an expression of high regard by the Texas 
House of Representatives.
