R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, Tricia Najera of Blattman Elementary School has 
received the Trinity Prize for Excellence in Teaching from Trinity 
University; and
	WHEREAS, This prestigious accolade is presented to educators 
who inspire a love of learning in their students while 
demonstrating dedication to their profession and their 
communities; and
	WHEREAS, An outstanding Northside kindergarten teacher, Ms. 
Najera has demonstrated a desire to keep abreast of current 
educational theories and practices, and she is also known for using 
technology to enhance her students' learning; and
	WHEREAS, Since becoming an educator, Tricia Najera has proven 
to be an exemplary teacher who has made an immeasurable 
contribution to the education of the youth of the Lone Star State; 
now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas 
Legislature hereby congratulate Tricia Najera on her receipt of the 
Trinity Prize for Excellence in Teaching from Trinity University 
and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued fulfillment 
with her important work; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for Tricia Najera as an expression of high regard by the 
Texas House of Representatives.
