R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, Jason David Summerville of San Antonio is graduating 
from St. Edward's University on May 14, 2005; and
	WHEREAS, Earning a bachelor's degree in political 
science/pre-law, Mr. Summerville has not only excelled in his role 
as a student but has gained invaluable work experience as a 
legislative aide for State Representative Joaquin Castro; and
	WHEREAS, This dynamic young Texan plans to continue his 
education by attending law school, where he will study 
international law, and eventually dedicate himself to public 
service, advocating for human rights both in the United States and 
abroad; and
	WHEREAS, Jason Summerville's devotion to improving the 
quality of others' lives is truly commendable, and it is a pleasure 
to honor him as he stands at the threshold of a bright and rewarding 
future; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas 
Legislature hereby congratulate Jason David Summerville on his 
graduation from St. Edward's University and extend to him sincere 
best wishes for continued achievement; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for Mr. Summerville as an expression of high regard by the 
Texas House of Representatives.
