H.R. No. 1386
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, The untimely passing of Jose Guadalupe Payan of El
Paso on April 8, 2005, at the age of 51, has brought a profoundly
felt loss to his family and friends; and
WHEREAS, A lifelong resident of El Paso, Mr. Payan was a
valued employee of Central Freight Lines and a devoted parishioner
of San Antonio Catholic Church; and
WHEREAS, Although this beloved husband, father, and
grandfather will be greatly missed, his legacy will live on in the
hearts of those whose lives he so richly blessed with his warmth and
generosity; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas
Legislature hereby pay special tribute to the life of Jose
Guadalupe Payan and extend deepest sympathy to the members of his
family: to his wife, Irma O. Payan; to his sons, Maurizio H. Payan
and Gabriel J. Payan; to his daughter, Maribel A. Payan; to his
brothers, Salvador Payan, Sr., Jose De La Luz Payan, and Roberto
Payan; to his two cherished grandchildren; and to his other
relatives and friends; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Jose
Guadalupe Payan.
