R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, Those Texans who give generously of their time and 
talent for the benefit of the greater good are indeed deserving of 
special praise, and El Paso Writers' League president Donna Munch 
is one such individual; and
	WHEREAS, Dedicated to the support and encouragement of local 
writers, the El Paso Writers' League serves its members and the 
larger community through enrichment programs, guest speakers, and 
an annual creative writing contest embracing 16 different 
categories of written work; and
	WHEREAS, Through her efforts in behalf of the writers' 
league, Ms. Munch has strengthened El Paso's creative community and 
heightened awareness of the art and craft of writing in the public 
consciousness, ably demonstrating the difference one person can 
make in the world; and
	WHEREAS, The programs of the El Paso Writers' League benefit 
not just its members but all those who love the written word, and 
Ms. Munch's vital contributions to this worthwhile work cannot be 
overestimated; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas 
Legislature hereby honor El Paso Writers' League president Donna 
Munch for her contributions to the community and extend to her best 
wishes for continued success; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for Ms. Munch as an expression of high regard by the Texas 
House of Representatives.
