                                                                  H.R. No. 1474



R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, The passing of Francisco Acuna on August 28, 2004, 
at the age of 90, deeply saddened the family and friends of this 
fine man; and
	WHEREAS,  A resident of Clint, Mr. Acuna was a retired farmer 
and beloved patriarch of a large family with whom he shared many 
happy times and cherished family memories; and
	WHEREAS, Mr. Acuna is profoundly missed by family members and 
friends, but his memory continues to live on in their hearts; now, 
therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas 
Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Francisco Acuna and 
extend sincere sympathy to the members of his family:  to his sons, 
Luis, Francisco Jr., and Manuel Acuna; to his daughter, Lorenza 
Murillo; to his 23 grandchildren, two step-grandsons, 36 
great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren; and, be it 
further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of 
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Francisco 
Acuna.
