R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Family and friends mourn the passing of Manuel B. Vigil of El Paso, who died on April 7, 2004, at the age of 91; and WHEREAS, A lifelong resident of El Paso and member of San Elizario Catholic Church, Mr. Vigil was a beloved patriarch of a large family with whom he shared many happy times and cherished family memories; he worked 30 years with I.B.W.C. before retiring; and WHEREAS, Mr. Vigil played a positive role in the lives of his loved ones, and while he is deeply missed, his memory lives on in their hearts; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Manuel B. Vigil and extend sincere sympathy to the members of his family: to his sons, Frank Vigil, Manuel Vigil, Jr., Jose Vigil, and Ramon Vigil; to his daughters, Mary Estrada and Cuca Estrada; Maggie Lara and Dolores C. Vigil; to his 25 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; and to his other relatives and friends; and, be it further RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Manuel B.
