R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, The tragedy of young lives cut short is a sobering 
reminder of just how fragile and precious life is, and it is with 
deep sorrow and humility that we mourn the passing of Saridivanna 
Franco and her brother, Sergio Franco, on January 15, 2005; and
	WHEREAS, Both brother and sister were born in El 
Paso--Saridivanna on November 3, 1998, and Sergio on April 22, 
2003--and throughout their lives they were the source of great joy 
in their loving and close-knit family; and
	WHEREAS, Although no words can soften the blow of such a loss, 
all those who knew Saridivanna and Sergio will treasure their 
memories of these unique and irreplaceable individuals; now, 
therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas 
Legislature hereby honor the memory of Saridivanna Franco and 
Sergio Franco and extend heartfelt sympathy to the members of their 
family: to their parents, Sergio M. and Ana Franco; to their 
grandparents, Salvador Franco, Maria Socorro Melero, Benjamin 
Caudillo, and Rebecca Martinez; to their great-grandparents, 
Manuel and Catalina Estrada, Enrique Martinez, and Socorro Franco; 
and to their other relatives and friends; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for the members of their family and that when the Texas 
House of Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of 
Saridivanna Franco and Sergio Franco.
