H.R. No. 1574



R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, The certain knowledge of a life well lived may 
temper the profound sadness that the passing of Nelda L. Candelaria 
has brought to all who loved her; and
	WHEREAS, A native of LaGrange and longtime resident of El 
Paso, Mrs. Candelaria died on April 18, 2004, at the age of 80; and
	WHEREAS, She shared a fulfilling marriage with her devoted 
husband, Roberto, that was richly blessed with five children, 18 
grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren; she was a loving 
wife, mother, and grandmother who could take pride in creating a 
nurturing home life for those she treasured; and
	WHEREAS, Nelda Candelaria dedicated her time and energy to 
the well-being of her family, and the memory of her devotion will 
long be held in the hearts of those fortunate enough to have known 
her; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas 
Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Nelda L. Candelaria 
and extend sincere sympathy to the members of her family:  to her 
children and their spouses, Roberto Candelaria, Jr., Ricardo and 
Teresa Candelaria, Stella Arroyos, Linda and Ray Rodriguez, and 
Diana and Lalo Cruz; to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren; 
and to her other relatives and many friends; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of 
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Nelda L. 
Candelaria.
