R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Memories of a life filled with joyful times and
meaningful accomplishments may comfort the family and friends of
Albert F. Hanmore of Clint, who passed away on April 17, 2005, at
the age of 80; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Hanmore was born on June 19, 1924, in Elmira, New
York, and enjoyed a distinguished career with the United States
Army; he was a veteran of World War II, the Korean War, and the
Vietnam War; and
WHEREAS, Loving husband to the late Eduviges Hanmore, this
longtime resident of El Paso was a member of San Lorenzo Catholic
Church, VFW Post 5615, Disabled American Veterans, and the Clint
Senior Citizens Community; and
WHEREAS, Albert Hanmore made important contributions to this
nation, and his memory will be forever cherished by those who were
blessed to share in his friendship; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas
Legislature hereby pay special tribute to the life of Albert F.
Hanmore and extend deepest sympathy to all who mourn his death: to
his family, Dora Tellez, Julian Tellez, Myra Tellez, Audra
Tellez-Owen, BobbiAnn Owen, Melena Owen, Leonard Walker, Edward
Sandoval, Greg Allen, Margie Allen, and the Rubalcava family; and
to his many friends; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Albert F.
Hanmore.
