R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, The Plano Senior High School boys' track and field
team won the District 8-5A championship title, a feat unrealized by
the school since 1981; and
WHEREAS, Demonstrating the skill and commitment to
excellence of true champions, these exceptional student-athletes
have secured a place in the sports annals of Plano Senior High
School; head coach Tim Eshleman ably schooled his charges in the
fundamentals of track and field while instilling in them the values
of hard work and good sportsmanship; and
WHEREAS, These talented individuals, along with their
coaches and staff, are a source of tremendous pride to the students
and faculty of Plano Senior High School as well as to their many
supporters in the community, and the memory of this outstanding
achievement will remain with them for years to come; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate the Plano Senior High School boys'
track and field team on winning the District 8-5A title and extend
to its members and coaches best wishes for continued success; and,
be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for the team as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
