R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, Bob and Ann Joyner of Pearland marked a special 
milestone in their lives on October 23, 2004, when they celebrated 
their golden wedding anniversary; and
	WHEREAS, Married on October 23, 1954, in Glendale, Arizona, 
Mr. Joyner spent the first year of their marriage fighting in the 
Korean War; he is a retired certified public accountant; and 
	WHEREAS, Mrs. Joyner is a mother and homemaker, and the 
family includes their two children, Deborah Ann Helton and Robert 
Clay Joyner, and seven grandchildren, Bobby, Joey, Stephanie, and 
Ashley Helton and Michael, Elizabeth, and Alex Joyner; and
	WHEREAS, For half a century, this devoted couple have 
nurtured a strong bond of love and mutual respect, filling each 
other's lives with many happy times and cherished family memories, 
and it is a pleasure to honor them on their enduring union; now, 
therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas 
Legislature hereby congratulate Bob and Ann Joyner on the joyous 
occasion of their golden wedding anniversary and extend to them 
warmest best wishes for continued happiness; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Joyner as an expression of high regard by 
the Texas House of Representatives.
