H.R. No. 1609



R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, The passing of Enrique Perez of San Elizario on 
February 18, 2005, at the age of 98, has brought a profoundly felt 
loss to his family and many friends; and
	WHEREAS, A lifelong resident of San Elizario, Mr. Perez was a 
farmer and a member of the San Elizario Catholic Church; and
	WHEREAS, He was a beloved father and grandfather and the 
husband of the late Maria Loya Perez who will be greatly missed, but 
his memory will live on in the hearts of those whose lives he so 
richly blessed; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas 
Legislature hereby pay special tribute to the life of Enrique Perez 
and extend deepest sympathy to the members of his family: to his 
brother, Rafael Perez; to his sons, Enrique Perez, Jr., Jose 
Antonio Perez, and Raul Perez; to his daughters, Lidia Perez Y. and 
Teresa Perez Teran; to his grandchildren, Miguel A. Teran, 
Elizabeth Teran Baker, John H. Teran, Steve Teran, Monica 
Soto-Teran, Omar D. Teran, Ray Perez, Mario Perez, Cindy Perez, and 
Sonia Perez; to his 11 great-grandchildren; and to all who mourn his 
passing; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of 
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Enrique 
Perez.
