R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, December 18, 2004, was indeed a special day for 
Trent and Melanie Marshall of Orange, for on that day their adorable 
baby boy, Andrew Jackson Marshall, was born; and
	WHEREAS, Weighing 9 pounds and 1 ounce, and measuring 21 
inches in length, Jackson Marshall was born at 4:54 p.m. at 
Arlington Memorial Hospital in Arlington; and
	WHEREAS, A sixth-generation Texan, young Mr. Marshall has 
been blessed with an irresistible smile and a winning personality 
and has brought great joy into the lives of his parents and many 
admirers; and
	WHEREAS, The birth of a new Texan is always a noteworthy 
event, and the members of this chamber take great pleasure in 
formally announcing Jackson's birth and honoring his delighted 
parents; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas 
Legislature hereby officially welcome Andrew Jackson Marshall as a 
new citizen of Texas and extend heartfelt congratulations to Trent 
and Melanie Marshall on the birth of their new son; and, be it 
further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Marshall as an expression of high regard 
by the Texas House of Representatives.
