R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, Lauren Madera has rendered exemplary service as a 
legislative intern in the office of State Representative Debbie 
Riddle during the 79th Legislative Session; and
	WHEREAS, A former Floridian, Ms. Madera brought useful 
experience to her role as a legislative intern, having worked on the 
George W. Bush presidential campaign in 2004; and
	WHEREAS, This thoughtful and diligent staff member made 
numerous contributions to the success of the office during her 
internship before leaving to study abroad in Spain; and
	WHEREAS, Ms. Madera was well-liked by all who were privileged 
to work with her, and her efforts in behalf of the constituents of 
House District 150 will not soon be forgotten; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas 
Legislature hereby commend Lauren Madera for her outstanding tenure 
as a legislative intern in the office of State Representative
Debbie Riddle; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for Ms. Madera as an expression of high regard by the Texas 
House of Representatives.
