R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Travis Horne has rendered exemplary service as a legislative intern in the office of State Representative Debbie Riddle throughout the 79th Legislative Session; and WHEREAS, Mr. Horne has performed many of the office's least glamorous tasks during the session; he has logged countless miles transporting packages and messages to and from the house floor, screened video of a three-hour hearing to glean needed information, and undertaken myriad other thankless, but necessary, jobs; and WHEREAS, What he lacked in initial experience, he has more than made up for with curiosity, intelligence, and enthusiasm, never missing an opportunity to learn more about the intricate workings of the legislative process; and WHEREAS, Mr. Horne has demonstrated determination and commitment in the performance of his duties, and the future undoubtedly holds great things for this bright and ambitious young man; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas Legislature hereby commend Travis Horne for his outstanding tenure as a legislative intern in the office of State Representative Debbie Riddle; and, be it further RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be prepared for Mr. Horne as an expression of high regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
