R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, Maria Aldeguer has rendered exemplary service as a 
legislative assistant in the office of State Representative Debbie 
Riddle throughout the 79th Legislative Session; and
	WHEREAS, Ms. Aldeguer joined Representative Riddle's staff 
as an intern during the 78th Regular Session and continued in that 
role throughout the four special sessions that followed, 
demonstrating an ability to learn quickly and perform her duties 
with enthusiasm and efficiency; and
	WHEREAS, She was promoted to legislative assistant for the 
79th Regular Session and has excelled in her job as chief 
constituent correspondent, reading and replying to correspondence 
while effectively establishing herself as the "thumb on the pulse 
of the district"; and
	WHEREAS, Ms. Aldeguer, who is scheduled to graduate from The 
University of Texas at Austin in May 2005, has matured greatly 
during her more than two years of legislative service, blossoming 
into a dependable professional who is a true asset to her 
colleagues; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas 
Legislature hereby commend Maria Aldeguer for her outstanding 
tenure as a legislative assistant in the office of State 
Representative Debbie Riddle; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for Ms. Aldeguer as an expression of high regard by the 
Texas House of Representatives.
