H.R. No. 1723



R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, The Highland Park High School wrestling team has 
achieved the pinnacle of success by winning the 2005 state 
championship, giving the school its fourth state title since 1999; 
and
	WHEREAS, Demonstrating the determination, commitment to 
excellence, and physical prowess required of true champions, the 
2004-2005 Highland Park state team members are Stephen Sharp, Zack 
Vick, Matthew Hobar, Scott Lake, John Marzuola, Kyle Anderson, Drew 
Newman, Fred Rowsey, and Cameron Grigsby; and
	WHEREAS, Coach Tim Marzuola ably schooled these talented 
athletes in the finer points of the sport, while instilling in them 
the importance of hard work, dedication, and good sportsmanship; 
and
	WHEREAS, The Highland Park High School wrestling team has 
established itself as one of the state's top high school wrestling 
programs, and the many individuals who have contributed to the 
team's success may indeed take pride in a job well done; now, 
therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas 
Legislature hereby congratulate the Highland Park High School 
wrestling team on winning the 2005 state championship and commend 
Coach Tim Marzuola and these fine student–athletes for this 
significant achievement; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for the team as an expression of high regard by the Texas 
House of Representatives.
