R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, Travis Martin has been named Lion of the Year by the 
Kilgore Lions Club; and
	WHEREAS, Truly deserving of the accolade, this notable Texan 
has demonstrated tremendous compassion and unwavering dedication 
in all of his endeavors; and
	WHEREAS, In honor of his contributions, Mr. Martin was 
formally recognized by president Robert Lightfoot at the club's 
meeting in April 2005; and
	WHEREAS, Travis Martin epitomizes the ideals that stand at 
the heart of the Lions Club mission, and it is a pleasure to join in 
honoring him for his outstanding commitment to public service; now, 
therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas 
Legislature hereby congratulate Travis Martin on being named Lion 
of the Year by the Kilgore Lions Club and extend to him deep 
appreciation for his many good works; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for Mr. Martin as an expression of high regard by the Texas 
House of Representatives.
