H.R. No. 1755



R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, A 60th wedding anniversary is truly cause for 
celebration, and on March 28, 2005, Roy and Louise Hollingsworth of 
Longview marked this momentous occasion in their long and happy 
marriage; and
	WHEREAS, Married in Frankston on March 28, 1945, this loving 
couple are the parents of five children, Jerry, Robert, James, Kay, 
and the late Barbara Ann, and today their close-knit family 
includes 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; and
	WHEREAS, Still leading active, busy lives, Mr. Hollingsworth 
is employed at Skinner's in Lakeport while Mrs. Hollingsworth is a 
part-time employee at Jordan Health after retiring from a career in 
the retail industry that spanned nearly a quarter-century; and
	WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Hollingsworth's memorable anniversary 
was celebrated on April 3, 2005, with a reception at the Longview 
Community Center where family members and friends enjoyed a 
beautiful cake and buffet provided by Pat and Pam Chreene, Vickie 
Wright, Christi Magneson, and Judy Ware; and
	WHEREAS, The enduring union of Roy and Louise Hollingsworth 
remains a source of joy and inspiration to all who know them, and it 
is indeed a pleasure to honor them at this time; now, therefore, be 
it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas 
Legislature hereby congratulate Roy and Louise Hollingsworth on 
their 60th wedding anniversary and extend to them best wishes for 
continued happiness; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for the Hollingsworths as an expression of high regard by 
the Texas House of Representatives.
