R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, The well-being of the citizens of Texas depends on 
economic prosperity throughout the state, and independent 
businesses that employ Texans and contribute to local economies are 
important components of a prosperous future; and
	WHEREAS, Clements Realtors in Winnsboro is celebrating the 
50th anniversary of its founding, and this special occasion 
provides an opportune time to take note of the past and present of 
this successful real estate company; and
	WHEREAS, Founded in 1955 by Dick and John Clements, the 
company was originally known as Clements Brothers Realty; today, 
owner Dick Clements works with his wife, Chloie, and their 
daughter, Sharon, to ensure customer satisfaction and honest 
business practices; and
	WHEREAS, Especially dedicated to the company's mission of  
superior service are the employees of Clements Realtors, including 
Francell L. Burnett, Linda B. Schwen, James Coy White, Katie 
Thornton, Kathy Beare, and Debra Evans; and
	WHEREAS, Operating a successful business for five decades is 
an impressive accomplishment, and Dick Clements and his family are 
most deserving of special recognition; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas 
Legislature hereby honor Clements Realtors in Winnsboro on the 
occasion of the company's 50th anniversary and extend to the owners 
and staff sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for Clements Realtors as an expression of high regard by 
the Texas House of Representatives.
